Public Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of North Macedonia

The Public Prosecutor's Office acts upon reports by citizens, CSOs or the Ministry of Interior based on which initiates criminal inviestigation. Hate speech is envisaged in several specific crimes within the Criminal Code. The Public Prosecutor's Office works closely with Ministry of Interior's Cyber Crime Unit, to ensure that incidents of hate speech—both online and offline—are persecuted.
